“When I try to log into Tunnelblick, I get an error that says,’Tunnelblick Configuration Problem: Tunnelblick could not be launched because of a problem with the configuration. Please examine the Console Log for details.’ What does this mean?”
This error occurs if Tunnelblick was installed before the configuration files were copied. Follow these instructions to correct the problem and get Tunnelblick up and running:
Step 1: Close Tunnelblick if any part of the application is still running.
Step 2: Open Finder and click on Library, then Application Support, and then Tunnelblick.
Step 3: Drag the “Configurations” folder to the Trash bin.
Step 4: Try to run the Tunnelblick application again. When you see the option to connect to sslvpn, click on it.
Step 5: When prompted, enter your PSMail address (ex. firstname.lastname@example.org) and password.
Problem solved! Tunnelblick should now run as normal. If you continue to have problems, please contact our helpdesk for further assistance.
