[If usingย outlook 2013, once the program is open click on “Alt-F” you will see a menu where you can “Add Account”, once you get to this screen the instructions are very similar to Outllok 2007 below]
Step 1: Open Outlook and click on the Tools menu. Select Account Settings….
Step 2: On the E-mail tab, click New…. (NOTE: If you are prompted to Choose E-mail Service, select POP3 and click Next.)
Step 3: For E-mail Address, enter your PSMail address (ex. username@psmail.net). For Password, enter your PSMail password. (Your Name is the display name and can be entered per your preference; this is the name that will appear on outgoing emails.)
Step 4: Check the box next to Manually configure server settings or additional server types. Then click Next.
Step 5: Select Internet E-mail and click Next. Under User Information enter your name (ex. John C. Doe) and your PSMail address (ex. username@psmail.net).
Step 6: Under Server Information, select POP3 from the Account Type drop-down menu. Enter “mail.psmail.net” for both the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers.
Step 7: Under Logon Information, enter your PSMail address and password.
Step 8: Click the More Settings button. Select the Outgoing Server tab.
Step 9: Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Also select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Step 10: Select the Advanced tab. Under Incoming Server (POP3), check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL). Enter “995” in the box.
Step 11: For Outgoing server (SMTP), enter “465”. Select SSL as the type of encrypted connection.
Step 12: Click OK and then Test Account Settings. After receiving “Congratulations,” click Close.
Step 13: Click Next and then Finish. You’re done!
