Alias is a like a nickname that points to your primary PSMailbox. Your account may have two alias names. Suggestions: Your primary email address may be long, or hard to spell, sucha as:

Another benefit, if you use an email client*, is the ability to separate the mail received into separate folders by using your email application's rules. Perhaps you could give work clients the alias:
By setting up a rule in your email application, all work mail would be collected in a separate folder. If you need help with alias names or using your email application rules, please feel free to contact us at PSMail. To request an alias first login at https://mail.psmail.net/mail/ and then go to "Preferences" in the left menu and then click on Request new alias link on the right side frame. You will see options for requesting new alias or deleting/replacing old alias. *An email client is an application that runs on your laptop or desktop computer, such as Outlook, Exchange, or Eudora. The term does not refer to your PSMail webmail. |
