SETUP: Versamail email setup Print E-mail
  • Launch the Versamail program on your Palm device.
  • Click the Application Menu button. On Treo 650 smartphones this button is located above the Mail icon.
  • Select the Accounts menu and then Account Setup from the menu.
  • Click the New button.
  • For Account Name enter PSMail.
  • For Mail Service select Other from the drop-down menu.
  • For Protocol select IMAP.
  • Click the Next button.
  • Enter your PSMail username* and password and click the Next button. (* Your psmail username is username-psmail.net if your email is username@psmail.net)
  • Enter your full PSMail e-mail address: (username@psmail.net)  and for Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server enter mail.psmail.net and click then Next button.
  • Once the account setup wizard has completed, choose Advanced or Next to configure additional mail options.
  • You will be taken through a number of screens to configure your additional mail settings.  Choose the options that best suit your needs.  Make sure to select the following options in these screens:
    • In the Incoming Mail Options screen, check the box that says Use Secure Connection (SSL).
    • For the Outgoing Server Settings (or Advanced Outgoing Options) screen, selectMy Server Requires Authentication (ESMTP).  Also, if available, check the option Use Secure Connection (SSL).  Click Done to complete the wizard.
  • Finally, click the Get or Get Mail button to download your e-mail. 
NOTE: This documentation is beta and has not been tested on all versions of Palm device.
