PSMail Quick Tip: Because many email programs allow you to view emails that look like a webpage, email is not vulnerable. Where once we only worried about the attachments, now you must treat your email with the same concern as visiting a website. In addition to disabling scripting features in web browsers, we recommend that users also disable these features in their email programs. Windows uses security zones to define this under Tools->Options. You should also consider setting your email client to text-only. |
