Using Public Computers

PSMail Quick Tip: Some public or internet cafe computers have built-in keystroke loggers to collect usernames and passwords. These loggers can read every key you've pressed.  If you ever need access to a public computer, psmail can provide you with a OTP (one-time password) so that your log-in information can remain safe. However, even with this protection, we recommend that you not use public computers to access your bank account or other critically secure accounts, like PSMail.

Another possibility, if you want to use a public computer to check email that's not secure in content, is to set up a temporary account with one of the many free email services. However, take care not to provide real personal data, especially your real e-mail address, to a free email service; they may sell that information to others.

Talk to us at PSMail for additional Secure Communications options!
